* No need to tie off your rope at anchorage.
* The speed of retrieval increases with each revolution.
* All rope and chain is spooled on and off the drum at rate of 80 and 90ft per minute
* The rope and chain does not twist and tangle causing the unit to malfunction
* Press the clutch switch,just loosen the clutch and the anchor will be free fall drop.Once you wish to raise the anchor,just power down the clutch switch and then press the winch clutch "up" bottom.
* The 600W free fall DC winch will freefall at up to 600 feet/minute which is a real advantage when you fish in depths greater than 20 meters.Also the drum can only free spool whilst there is weight pulling down so once the anchor hits the seabed the drum will automatically stop which totally eliminates the risk of an over run which happens when too much rope is spooled out when anchoring.
