Class Notation of External FiFi System:

A) Class FiFi-1/2 or Lower: FiFi systems with capacities below FiFi-1 do not require classification. Typically, fire pumps are powered by dedicated diesel engines, electric motors, or M/E PTO via gearboxes, ensuring robust and reliable performance.
Typical Configuration of Class FiFi-1/2: This configuration generally includes either 2 units of 600 m³/h or 1 unit of 1200 m³/h water/foam monitor, delivering efficient firefighting capabilities.
Class Lower than FiFi-1/2: These systems usually encompass a total capacity ranging from 180 m³/h to 800 m³/h, designed to meet diverse firefighting needs with flexibility and efficiency.

B) Class FiFi-1 System: Featuring 2 fire monitors with a total water capacity of 2400 m³/h, supplemented by 1-2 fire pumps and a water spray system that complies with classification regulations. This system boasts a minimum throw length of 120m and a minimum throw height of 45m in still air.

C) Class FiFi-2 System: Comprised of 3-4 fire monitors delivering a total water capacity of 7200 m³/h, alongside 2-4 fire pumps and a water spray system that adheres to classification standards. The system ensures a minimum throw length of 150m and a minimum throw height of 70m in still air.

D) Class FiFi-3 System: Integrated with 4 fire monitors offering a total water capacity of 9600 m³/h, along with 2-4 fire pumps and a compliant water spray system. Additionally, it includes 2 foam monitors, each with a capacity of 300 m³/h and a throw height of 50m, ensuring comprehensive firefighting coverage.
