A) For Class FiFi-1/2 or lower FiFi systems, classification is waived if capacity is below FiFi-1. These systems leverage fire pumps that are typically powered by dedicated diesel engines, electric motors, or M/E PTO via gearboxes.
The Typical configuration for a Class FiFi-1/2 system includes either 2 units of 600 m3/h or a singular unit of 1200 m3/h water/foam monitor, ensuring robust fire-fighting capabilities.
Systems below Class FiFi-1/2 generally operate with a total capacity ranging from 180 m3/hr to 800 m3/hr, catering to varied operational needs.

B) The Class FiFi-1 system is equipped with 2 fire monitors delivering a combined water capacity of 2400 m3/hr, complemented by 1-2 fire pumps and a water spray system compliant with classification regulations. It boasts a minimum throw length of 120m and a throw height of 45m in still air.

C) The Class FiFi-2 system features 3-4 fire monitors with a total water capacity of 7200 m3/h, supported by 2-4 fire pumps and a compliant water spray system. This system achieves a minimum water throw length of 150m and a height of 70m in still air.

D) The Class FiFi-3 system includes 4 fire monitors with a total water capacity of 9600 m3/h, reinforced by 2-4 fire pumps and a compliant water spray system. Additionally, it excels with 2 foam monitors, each providing a capacity of 300 m3/h and a throw height of 50m, ensuring comprehensive fire-fighting readiness.
