Cu3 (Nickel Aluminum Bronze): Seawater Resistance + High Strength, the "Reliability Standard" for Key Marine Components
Natural Barrier Against Marine Corrosion: With a corrosion rate in seawater Cu1's 1/10-1/5 and 304 stainless steel's 1/3 (close to 316L), its aluminum-formed oxide film self-repairs, eliminating regular painting maintenance and significantly reducing ocean vessel operational costs.
High Load-Bearing Capacity: Tensile strength (600-850MPa) ranks highest among the three, withstands "cavitation impact" and "torque loads" during high-speed propeller rotation (e.g., large marine propellers with 5-8m diameter and 10-20t weight require Cu3's strength support).
Lightweight Potential: 5%-12% lower density than Cu1 allows weight reduction for components at equivalent strength (e.g., 5%-10% lighter propellers), indirectly reducing vessel fuel consumption and aligning with "green ship" trends.
